Craig may be small, but it’s a hub for some of the most respected fly shops in the West. Whether you need flies, gear, expert advice, or want to book a guided float, these shops are just minutes from Fishcamp—and each brings something unique to the experience.
The Trout Shop
Our preferred partner. Professional, knowledgeable, and located right in the heart of Craig. Their riverside lodge, restaurant, and shop are a great first stop when you roll into town.
Headhunters Fly Shop
Known for a deep selection of Missouri-specific flies, current river reports, and a relaxed, fun vibe. A go-to for both technical anglers and casual visitors.
CrossCurrents Fly Shop – Craig
Reliable, full-service outfitter with a great staff and solid gear selection. Also has a Helena location if you’re passing through town before arrival.
Local Eats & Watering Holes
While Craig is small, it knows how to take care of hungry anglers. Here are a few guest favorites:
Izaak’s – Seasonal menu, known for smokehouse entrees, great bar. Dinner only. Casual but quality.
River Hub Saloon – At the Trout Shop Lodge. Dinner only, with Reservations required, Nightly Theme menu (ie. Cuba night)
Stonefly Grill / Craig Taphouse – Beer, Wine, Pizza, Burgers
Craig Bar– Cold beer, cocktails, local hangout.
Driftwood Bar – In Cascade (20min) Laid-back with locals, drinks, and character.
Dinner in Helena or Great Falls (45min)– For more options, Helena and Great Falls are 45 minutes away and offers breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and casual fine dining.

We want your stay to be as relaxing and seamless as possible. Here are a few notes to help us keep things that way:

Shared Breezeway: If you’re not renting the entire property, the breezeway (outdoor kitchen, dining, and fireplace) is a shared space—please respect quiet hours and clean up after use
Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 7 AM
No Smoking: Inside or near any open windows/doors
Pets: Not permitted unless pre-approved
Laundry & Kitchen: Full access included for Main House guests. Casitas have coffee bars and mini-fridges.
Damages & Excess Cleaning: Any damages or excessive cleaning may be billed post-stay
Fire Extinguishers: Located in the cabinet under the outdoor Grill and in the Main House kitchen under the sink
Cancellation Policy: See your confirmation email or contact us for details
Fishing from the Bank: The trout along our riverbank see minimal pressure and often feed confidently in shallow water. While obviously not required by law, we respectfully ask that you fish dries only to these fish. Avoiding nymphing along this bank helps keep these fish active, and present for future guests.
